About

My background is in the biomedical sciences, with experience editing work across molecular biology, physiology, and endocrinology. I work with academic researchers, clinicians, and biotech teams at multiple stages of the publication process, from early drafts through post-review revisions. My approach reflects how editors and reviewers evaluate scientific work.

Editorial Philosophy

My editorial work emphasizes scientific logic, clarity of argument, and precise use of language. I focus on strengthening structure and readability while preserving the author’s voice and scientific intent. Standalone grammar, line-editing, or proofreading services are not offered.

The goal of my work is to help researchers communicate their science clearly, so that strong ideas can be evaluated on their merits.

Background and Experience

I hold a PhD and have over 30 years of academic research experience. I have published in high-impact journals and am the author of a major biomedical textbook. I also serve on the editorial boards of two peer-reviewed journals.

This experience informs my understanding of how manuscripts are assessed at the editorial and peer-review stages, and shapes how I approach substantive scientific revision.

Transparency and Integrity

I do not provide ghostwriting or new content creation. I do not use generative AI at any stage of the editing process. All editorial work is conducted transparently using tracked changes and comments, in accordance with journal and funder guidelines.
